Thursday the 12th of April I will do a Motivational Speech on the Entrepreneurial Inspiration Day (EID) in Rotterdam.
After the nice key-note at startup24 last year, the organization has asked me to share experiences and practical tips in a Motivational Speech in a program together with top-managers of ASML, Philips, Microsoft and Shell.
I will speak about topics like ‘How is it to be self-employed?’, ‘How is it to start one’s own business? As a career/life choice. Interesting questions! I really enjoy talking to young people and share experiences around corporate entrepreneurship and independent entrepreneurship for young and less young. The positive sides and the negatives sides.
Corporate entrepreneurship, part-time entrepreneurship and full-time entrepreneurship.
As I have worked for a long time in global corporate environment at ABN Amro (see here) in a steady job, consequently worked part-time as an online entrepreneur, building my own online business as ‘plan b’ from 2001 onwards and having chosen ‘freedom’ since 2011, it is great to be able to join the Entrepreneurial Inspiration Day. The topics I will cover will include:
My personal journey. Do you have what it takes to become a successful entrepreneur? How and when to start your own company? Why most starters & startups still fail? Revenue models are more important than business models. Finally: personal tips from a digital maverick. Questions?
See the whole program and all the speakers here. See you there between 13.00 and 13.30!
